Hello loves!
Thank you so much for your patience for this long-awaited update on the Greece retreat. And most importantly, thank you for your interest in joining and for trusting in this journey — it truly means the world to me. How beautiufl that we all share a deep love for our dear Meridith, and for her and her beautiful heart for bringing us together. It will be such a gift to reunite Chelsea and Amy, and to finally meet you, Maggie, if all aligns for you all to join. This retreat has been on Rachel’s and my hearts for a long time, and we’re absolutely thrilled to bring it to life.
I believe Mer may have already shared the attached information about rates and accommodations, but I’ve reattached it here for your reference. Please let me know any questions, thoughts, or preferences when you can.
With love, xoxo
With love and gratitude, Joanna

Hi Philip,
It was so lovely to connect the other day! I just went to send you a message on WhatsApp and couldn’t find your contact — this sometimes happens when I save a number but don’t message right away, so apologies. I’m +1 (508) 846-4412 (US). Please feel free to add me and respond there, or share your number again and I’ll save it and message you from my side.
I wanted to triple-check the pricing and room options (Bronze, Silver, and Gold) and confirm the room assignments in each house. We have 12 guests confirmed and everyone’s waiting on the cost, so if you can confirm that everything looks correct I’ll start booking.
Also, if we sell out, could you let me know whether the other three apartments might be available for additional guests? I believe those would be two 2-bedroom units and one 1-bedroom unit (Rachael and I will take one of the 2-bedrooms). If they are available, could you share pricing or any recommendations for how to price them?
Thank you!
My goodness gracious — Leigh and I are missing you all so much already. We hope you’re settling back in at home, staying warm, and taking things slowly and holy as you ease back into daily life. xo
We are in deep gratitude for every one of you and the unique spark you brought to our week together. Thank you. Sharing this experience was something so very special — beyond what words can express. The joy, the deep conversations, the giggles, and the holy tears are still with us, and we’ll forever cherish the softening and opening of your hearts that unfolded so organically, both individually and together.
It is our dearest hope that your time at Haramara helped you deepen your connection to the wisdom and power within you and to the majesty that surrounds us. As you continue to integrate your experience, may you be reminded that you are a reflection of the love and beauty you encounter in another’s eyes and in the living natural world. The earth, the waters, the fire, the air, the ether — the wonder and aliveness that IS you.
Carry the shared moments, learnings, and reflections with you as you move forward, and remember you are surrounded by a network of love and support. This wild journey of being human is not meant to be traveled alone; we are strongest together. xo
We created a Shared Photo Album and have sent invites so you can upload your photos. Sharing each other’s captures is one of our favorite ways to preserve the colors, textures, memories, and small moments of magic we experienced together. If you have any trouble accessing the album, please let me know and I’ll help get you connected.

This retreat invites you to step away, exhale, and tend gently to your nervous system in the deep care of nature, ritual, practice, and community. Over a few intentional days, you will slow the tempo of your life, restore presence through guided somatic practices, and reclaim steadiness with simple rituals held in quiet, wild places. Nourishing meals, movement rooted in safety, and shared circles offer support as you re-learn how to rest, regulate, and return to your center. Come to be held, to breathe, and to remember the ease that’s always available when we choose to slow down together.
Hello dear ones,
A quick note to share that we’ve had a last‑minute opening for our retreat at Haramara, January 24th–31st, and we’re offering the spot at a significantly reduced rate to fill the space. Because this opening arrived unexpectedly, we’re open to working with your budget and discussing what you can realistically offer to make joining possible. It doesn’t feel right to let it sit empty (!) especially when we know how deeply healing and transformative these experiences can be. If you feel called, or know someone who might benefit from the experience, please reach out, and we will explore the ways to make it happen.
With so much overwhelm in our world—the intensity, the division, the noise, the constant pull on our attention, hearts, and nervous systems—this is an invitation to step away, exhale, and tend to yourself deeply and gently: body, heart, and soul.
A reset like this deepens and strengthens our capacity to show up for ourselves, for our world, and for one another with steady, soft, strong, and hopeful hearts.
If you’ve been waiting for a sign - this just might be it.
Send me a message , and let’s connect.

Your soul’s essence is now forever etched into this land — a gentle, unending presence woven into the wind, the soil, and the quiet places where memory gathers. Though your hands no longer tend these fields and your voice no longer calls across these rooms, you remain with us in spirit: a guiding warmth at dawn, a familiar comfort in the evening hush, a steady light that steadies our steps. We carry you in the rituals of daily life, in stories told and meals shared, in the blooms that return each spring. Here, where roots run deep and seasons keep their promise, your being endures — present, honored, and loved — an integral part of this place now and always.
soPart of you forever etched in the land sacred: a faint trace of breath caught in soft moss, the delicate imprint of footsteps pressed into river silt, the quiet hand laid against cool stone where memory remembers your name. The land holds what you offer—small, steady acts of care, songs hummed at dusk, seeds tucked carefully into waiting earth—and keeps them like a slow, honest archive. Time does not merely erase; it deepens the line, folding presence into root, turning grief into blossom, promise into a worn path that others may follow. Here, beneath the wide, patient sky and among weathered trees, your story moves into a greater language—persistent, gentle, and true—waiting to be read, understood, and tended by those who come after.Hi Katharine,
Thanks so much for your quick response — and I’m sorry for the delayed reply. I wasn’t feeling well last night and only saw your message today between classes. I’m available Monday after 1:00 PM EST; please let me know what time works best for you and hopefully we can connect. You can reach me at 508-846-4412, or I can call you if you prefer.
I really appreciate your willingness to talk. The financial piece of this has been weighing heavily and has me questioning what I’m getting out of it; I’ve been considering whether I should cancel. I also feel awful about missing yesterday’s appointment and generally sense that something isn’t aligned. A conversation beyond email would be really helpful and supportive.
Thank you again.

‘AllTried and true laughter medicine: a gentle, dependable lift for the everyday.
Laughter is simple, swift, and reliably restorative. Whether it’s a shared smile over morning coffee, a silly memory that sneaks up in a quiet moment, or a perfectly timed joke among friends, laughter eases tension, brightens perspective, and reconnects us to what matters. This tried-and-true remedy doesn’t require a prescription—just presence. It softens stress, sparks resilience, and turns ordinary minutes into something lighter. Keep it close: a favorite funny clip, a go-to wisecrack, or the people who make you laugh. When life feels heavy, a practiced laugh can be the reset you didn’t know you needed. the giggles for all the days — an ode to joy and play, connection and being human together. Tiny bursts of laughter that ripple through mornings and linger into quiet nights. Shared snorts over silly jokes, contagious chuckles exchanged across rooms, the low, warm laughter that knits friends and family into something steadier than words. It’s the unplanned giggle that turns a bad day bright, the playful teasing that reminds us we belong, the childlike guffaw that invites grown-ups back into wonder. This is a celebration of those small, ordinary moments that make us feel seen: the spontaneous, the silly, the wholehearted. For every day, a reason to laugh — together, loud, and without apology.
The echo of their giggles lingers in my heart — a soft, steady rhythm that carries the warmth of sisterhood through every quiet room. It’s the kind of laughter that remembers old secrets, forgives small failures, and stitches ordinary days into something tender and bright. In our shared silences and sudden fits of joy, that sound becomes an unspoken promise: no matter the distance or the years, the love between us remains, playful and enduring, a familiar echo that always finds its way home.
All the giggles for all the days — a lighthearted celebration of the small, contagious moments that make life sweet and worth noticing. This cheerful collection follows friends, families, and strangers as they discover humor in the everyday: a shared inside joke that brightens a dull commute, a baby’s first infectious laugh, the clumsy triumphs that turn awkward into adorable, and the tiny misunderstandings that become memories. Warm, tender, and easy to smile along with, All the Giggles for All the Days is a gentle reminder that joy often lives in the brief, unplanned bursts of laughter we give and receive. Keep it close for a quick lift, a gentle nudge toward playfulness, and comforting proof that laughter—shared or solo—is quietly good for the soul.
I'll take all the giggles, for all the days.
A tender promise wrapped in everyday joy: "I'll take all the giggles, for all the days" celebrates the small, bright moments that stitch a life together. It’s an invitation to savor laughter—spontaneous, quiet, shared—and to choose presence over perfection. Ideal for a greeting card, a vow, or a keepsake, this line honors the lightness that love and companionship bring, pledging to collect every smile, inside joke, and burst of delight through every chapter. Simple, warm, and enduring—an ode to living joyfully, together.
Now more than ever we need the lighter touch—the simple, healing power of a laugh. Giggle medicine soothes frayed nerves, mends small breaks in the day, and gently reminds us we’re human together. I let it in like a warm exhale, savoring the lightness and brief relief it offers, enjoying the way laughter softens edges and reconnects us for a moment.t’s not a cure-all, but a necessary balm: a shared smile, a spontaneous chuckle, a moment of silliness that shifts perspective and lightens the load. In a world heavy with noise, let laughter be the gentle remedy that restores balance, lifts spirits, and keeps hope within reach.
In an intense world, sometimes you need a lighter medicine — a breath of wonder to remind you of joy, buoyancy, and the small healing power of being present. These moments of brightness, however brief, lift the weight, soften the edges, and open a space for awe. They aren’t a cure-all, but they are essential: a gentle permission to feel lighter, to notice beauty, and to heal in increments. Hold onto those sparks; they are the quiet medicine that helps you keep going.

Hello all!
Thank you again, Sandy — many students have been asking who will teach this class, and the responses have been nothing but "yays!" and big, big smiles. You are so very loved, and I’m so grateful that you share your wisdom and heart with us. Your presence truly makes all the difference.
I’m writing to confirm that the wonderful Sandy will be taking over the Saturday 11:15 a.m. class while I’m in Mexico, starting January 24. Sandy already teaches other classes and has a few prior commitments; she will email once coverage for those dates is confirmed.
Sandy will confirm coverage for: 3/14, 3/28, 4/25, and 5/2.
I am so, so grateful to Sandy—many students have asked who will be leading this class, and the responses have been nothing but big smiles, cheerful applause, and enthusiastic “yay!” You are so deeply appreciated and loved, Sandy.

Meredith —
Wishing you New Year blessings and a sweet start to 2026. It was such a gift seeing you at the studio — those little run-ins already feel like they belong to another season. Time really is strange and marvelous.
Would you be interested in covering the Friday 4:15 class at Soma while I’m in Mexico? I’m leaving the third week of January. I can teach through the 16th but will need coverage beginning Friday the 23rd. I’ll be away until mid‑May (exact return depends on a training; I’ll confirm the date as soon as I know). Amy and I both think you’d be a wonderful fit, and I’d be honored if you’d teach the class while I’m gone. If that start date doesn’t work, I can arrange interim coverage until you’re available.
You’re so loved at Soma (and everywhere). Let me know when you have a chance if you’re interested.
With gratitude, Xojo

H e r e w e a r e .
This liminal space after the holiday energy settles, and the new year sits just over the horizon, always feels very dreamlike to me. A portal where time feels both suspended and foreseeing — a slow, gentle sway between the past, present and future— where we linger at the threshold before the page turns in the book of life, and a new chapter begins to unfold.
Although I don’t mark the new year with strict resolutions or goals, I welcome this time to honor endings + beginnings and the steady cycles + rhythms that carry us through life. This moment offers a gentle pause to take inventory of our inner landscape — to fully meet the season of slowness in a world that moves faster than ever — so we can meet ourselves with radical honesty and care — to tune into what truly feels in alignment in our lives, and notice what isn’t. An invitation into deeper trust, surrender, and a more intimate relationship with our humanness, as well as with the great mystery moving through all things.
A Body listening. A Soul listening.
What I’ve learned is that avoiding the inner work keeps us locked in deep-rooted patterns, old stories, and self-limiting beliefs, where feelings and emotions remain buried and unresolved beneath the surface. The constant doing and go-go-go mentality keeps society moving and ‘productive,’ but leaves so many unhappy, distracted, and living under the persistent illusion of separation — an individualistic way of being that, unfortunately, is the root of much of the suffering in this world. When we begin to rewrite the narratives that no longer serve us, setting down burdens that were never ours to carry in the first place, we learn to find solace in the cave of the heart, find safety in the simple rhythm of our breath, and to feel the steady ground of belonging beneath everything. These are pathways of remembering and resourcing that keep us tethered when life brings us to our knees, offering reliable ways back home even in the darkest moments.
The patient, imperfect, messy, and courageous journey of self. A journey that unfolds with care, asking for steady trust, gentle compassion, and persistent commitment.
My hope for this new chapter is that more of us truly show up — to meet and know every part of ourselves, to gently tend to our wounds so we can love ourselves more fully, to love one another with greater openness, and to care for this planet with renewed resolve and commitment. To become the love so deeply remembered and embodied, that it naturally expands, reshaping our relationships, and the broader world as we honor our shared humanity and interconnectedness.
We can’t do it alone, and we are not alone. Walking this path is not a solo journey ,but a collective one — holding one another’s hands as we move through darkness, offering support and steadiness so we do not lose sight of the light.
As always, if you made it this far, thank you for taking the time to read. If you’re in the Boston area, i would love to join me tomorrow at Soma for my annual New Year’s Eve gathering — truly my favorite of the year. I also hope you’ll join a class on the coming weeks so Char and I can give you a big squeeze before I head off to Mexico. There is one space left for my retreat happening in late January, and three more spaces available for the late February retreat, so if everything above resonates with you and you’ve been feeling the call, now is the moment to sign up. :) More information on all of this is below.
I’m sending heartfelt gratitude to each one of you for walking this path with me. Thank you for consistently showing up, holding generous space, and trusting the unfolding journey. Your steady presence have shaped every step along the way. I’m deeply grateful for our shared moments and the growth we’ve experienced together, and I look forward with optimism to what we’ll create in the year ahead.
Blessings to you all.
And in a society that prizes speed and productivity, the addiction to doing more and feeling less has left so many of us exhausted, disconnected, and moving through life half-asleep, barely noticing the small moments that once brought meaning and rest. This relentless push toward efficiency masks a deeper wound: an individualistic existence built on the illusion of separation, where real connection and communal care are neglected in favor of constant output. Stripped of belonging and slowed attention, we carry a quiet grief that fuels anxiety, loneliness, and conflict—both within ourselves and across our communities. Reclaiming presence, compassion, and connection is not indulgent; it’s essential. Only by waking up to our shared humanity can we begin to heal the hidden damage of a culture that mistakes motion for meaning.
When we turn inward and invite every part of ourselves to the table, the slow work of undoing begins. We rewire old patterns, rewrite the stories that once defined us, and set down burdens that never belonged to us. In the quiet sanctuary of our own heart we find solace; in the simple, steady breath we find safety; in the touch of the earth beneath our feet we find steadiness. These small, faithful practices become pathways of remembering: reminders that we have always been whole and anchors to hold us when life bends us to our knees. Even in the darkest moments—when fear, shame, or grief rise up—we can find our way back home.
One of my deepest hopes for this new chapter is that more of us commit to the path of self‑exploration—the practices and spaces that support healing, integration, and awakening. That we learn to love ourselves, one another, and this earth more fully, with unwavering devotion. A love so pure and embodied that it expands and ripples outward, rebuilding networks of reciprocity and dissolving false barriers and the illusion of separation. Not through grand declarations, but by choosing to show up with steadiness and commitment, again and again.
One of my deepest hopes for this new chapter is that more of us commit to the path of self-exploration—to the practices and spaces that support healing, integration, and awakening. That we learn to love ourselves, one another, and this earth more fully, with unwavering devotion. A love so pure, so embodied that it expands and ripples outward, rebuilding networks of reciprocity and dissolving false barriers and the illusion of separation. Not through grand declarations, but by showing up: choosing curiosity over certainty, presence over distraction, compassion over judgment. In doing so we create a steady current of care that heals old wounds, honors interdependence, and invites a world remade by gentle, consistent actions.
When real connection and communal care are sacrificed to the relentless pursuit of productivity, we trade belonging for isolation. The illusion of separateness — that we are solitary agents competing for scarce resources and validation — deepens anxiety, erodes empathy, and perpetuates harm both within and between communities. Healing begins when we recognize that our wellbeing is intertwined: shared burdens become lighter, resilience is amplified, and meaning returns to daily life. Reclaiming time for presence, mutual aid, and honest listening isn’t indulgence; it’s foundational care. Only by rebuilding networks of reciprocity can we dissolve the false barriers that fuel so much suffering and move toward a more humane, connected world.
Although I don't mark the new year with resolutions, I welcome this season as a gentle altar for endings and beginnings and for the steady cycles that carry us forward. It’s an invitation to pause and turn inward: to notice what needs tending, tune into what truly feels aligned, and let go of what no longer serves. This honest exploration deepens our relationship with our own humanness and opens us to greater trust and surrender into the mystery of life.
A love so embodied that it naturally expands and ripples outward—one interaction at a time. Quiet and steady, it moves through small moments: a listening ear, a patient touch, an honest apology. Each gesture is a drop that sets the next in motion, creating circles of care that reach beyond intention into everyday life. Rooted in presence and practiced kindness, this love reshapes spaces and relationships, not by force but by example—gentle, persistent, and contagious. Over time, these accumulated acts become a world where compassion is the default and connection grows simply because someone chose to show up.
And in a society that prizes speed and productivity above all, the addiction to do more and feel less leaves so many exhausted, disconnected, and moving through life half-asleep. Fueled by the illusion of separation, true connection and communal care are sidelined in favor of constant output. This neglect—of rest, presence, and mutual support—is heartbreakingly the root of so much internal and external suffering, eroding our capacity for compassion, creativity, and resilience. Reclaiming slowness, shared responsibility, and real intimacy isn’t indulgence; it’s essential repair for individuals and the world they shape.
May we keep lighting the way. All hearts on board.
When we slow down, move inward, and begin to undo the old stories and self-limiting beliefs, we set down burdens that were never ours to carry. In that quiet, the cave of the heart opens — a gentle refuge where the simple rhythm of our breath becomes a steady companion and the ground of belonging feels beneath every step. These are not quick fixes but pathways of remembering our inherent wholeness: practices that resource us and keep us tethered when life brings us to our knees. They offer reliable ways back home, even in the darkest moments. The journey is patient, imperfect, messy, and courageous — unfolding with care and asking for steady trust, compassion, and wholehearted commitment.
Each time we take another step in the search for that depth and meaning, we are living in truth and therefore in alignment and in service to all. This pursuit transforms ordinary moments into intentional acts: honesty with ourselves clears the path to clearer choices, and curiosity deepens our understanding of others. Living in alignment isn't passive—it demands attention, courage, and small consistent decisions that reflect our values. In doing so we contribute to a larger field of well-being, because authentic lives ripple outward, encouraging trust, compassion, and cooperation. The search itself becomes the service: a quiet, steady commitment to truth that nurtures connection and purpose for everyone it touches.
There’s a thin, dim place between sleep and waking where days slide by on autopilot. Meals eaten without tasting, conversations answered by reflex, errands completed with the attention of someone watching from another room. The body moves, appointments are kept, the world registers like a half-remembered dream — familiar, manageable, muted. Time passes in soft repetition: the same streets, the same faces, the same small rhythms that require no real decision. It’s not despair exactly, and it’s not peace; it’s the quiet, suspended hum of living without presence, as if waiting for something — clarity, urgency, or simply a jolt — to pull you fully back into color. Until then you float, half-asleep, half-awake, carried forward by habit and the assumption that feeling will catch up eventually.
xojo The constant push to do more, achieve more, and always be moving—as society often speaks of it as the surest path to “success”—leaves us exhausted, disconnected, and half-asleep to what matters. Chasing individual accomplishment as the primary measure of worth only deepens the illusion of separateness and further isolates us from one another. This persistent belief in our separateness is at the root of much suffering; an overly individualistic way of being creates loneliness, mistrust, and a loss of shared purpose. By recognizing our interdependence, slowing the compulsive drive to constantly perform, and actively rebuilding relationships and communities, we can restore meaning, presence, and a sense of collective care.
Avoiding the slowdown—the quieter, reflective, intimate spaces with ourselves—keeps us moving through the motions of life and locked into deep-rooted patterns, old stories, and self-limiting beliefs. When feelings and emotions are buried beneath the surface, they calcify into habits that shape how we show up in the world. In a culture that prizes speed and achievement, the constant pressure to do more leaves many exhausted, disconnected, and half-asleep. This individualistic existence, sustained by the illusion of separation, lies at the heart of much human suffering. Slowing down isn’t indulgence; it’s a necessary practice for noticing what’s alive inside us, dissolving worn patterns, and reclaiming a more grounded, connected way of being.
I don’t mark the new year with ambitious resolutions. Instead, I welcome this time to honor endings and beginnings and the steady cycles that carry us. It’s a gentle pause — an invitation to take inventory of our inner landscape, to meet ourselves fully in a season of slowness. Here we can notice what needs tending, tune into what truly feels aligned, and recognize what no longer serves. This quiet practice opens us into deeper trust and surrender, and into a more intimate relationship with our humanness and the greater mystery moving through all things.
My hope for this new chapter is that more of us truly show up — to know every part of ourselves, to gently tend to our wounds so we can love ourselves more fully, to love one another with unwavering devotion, and to care for this planet with committed service. Let this be a season of compassionate self-discovery, steady healing, and collective responsibility, where everyday actions reflect the care we want for ourselves, each other, and the world we share.

And one thing i know for sure, is that we can walk thi spath alone. And thank goodness we dont have to. Know your not alobne. We Step through when you can, and trust that what waits on the other side is more of who you were always meant to be.
Time and time again, the journey of remembering calls us back to our inherent interconnectedness — a living web of reciprocity with ourselves, with one another, and with the Earth beneath our feet. Living in this reciprocityThis inner work is brave work. It requires courage, trust, and determination. And we don’t have to do it alone. We heal in community, in relationship—with ourselves, with one another, and with Nature.
Time and time again, the journey of remembering calls us back to our inherent interconnectedness — a living web of reciprocity with ourselves, with one another, and with the Earth beneath our feet. Living in this reciprocity is not mere philosophy but medicine: it soothes, heals, grounds, and guides us toward wiser action.
I feel as though life continuously offers these invitations for reflection when we allow them. Invitations that require slowing down, sitting with what is, and letting what needs tending to, arise. Which often means sitting with the uncomfortable, the darkness, shadows, the unknown. And trust me, I am not a stranger to not wsnt to go there. Thgere were times I wasnt ready - and I honored my tining - and times when I diverted becauise it just felt all too much. But what I have leartned is yhat leaning into that interior work is how we consciously align our chouces with our sould path— actio rooted in love.
I also hope to see many of you in class over the coming weeks, so that Charlotte and I can give you a big squeeze before I head off to Mexico. There’s still an opportunity to join me there! There is one space left for my retreat at Haramara, January 24th-31st, with my dear Leigh Alberti, and 3 more spaces are available for my February 28th-March 3rd retreat with my sweet sister, Emily Burdett. If you resonate with these words, and have felt the call of your heart to immerse deeper in practice, nature, and soulful connection, the time is now.
If you’ve been longing to deepen your practice, immerse into nature, and connect with soulful community, now is the moment to say yes. These retreats are intimate, restorative, and held with care — a chance to slow down, breathe, and return to what matters most.
One of my deepest hopes for this new chapter is that more of us commit to the path of self-exploration—to the practices and spaces that support healing, integration, and awakening. That we learn to love ourselves, one another, and this earth more fully, with steady devotion and through intentional, sustained service. Love so deeply remembered and embodied that it naturally expands, helping to build a more resilient, empathetic, and supportive world, one interaction at a time. This shift reshapes our relationships and reciprocity with all things, inviting us to honor our shared humanity and interconnectedness as the foundation for meaningful change.
Walking this path is not a solo journey but a collective one — and I’m so grateful to be walking it alongside you. We’re here to hold one another’s hands through the darkness and the twists and turns, offering steady support so we don’t lose sight of the light.
One of the many lessons I have learned along the way is that this inner work is brave work. It takes courage, and trust, and determinine. And we cant do it alone. We dont havr to do it alone. We heal in community.
We heal in relationship —
with ourselves,
with one another,
with Nature.
We heal when we slow down.
When we are fully seen, heard, and held in our most raw, vulnerable, authentic, messy + magnificent, holy human selves.
Let this be a time to quiet the busy buzz around you and tune into the patient voice within. Listen closely to your own truths. Breathe. Attend. Choose from the place that’s truly yours.
Although I don’t mark the new year with strict resolutions, I deeply honor endings and beginnings and the steady cycles and rhythms that carry us through life. This moment offers yet another gentle pause to take inventory, a meet the season of slowness so we can actually hear the voice of our own soul — without letting others’ voices drown our own truth out. I sense life is always offering these opportunities for reflection when we allow them — an invitation that requirtes us to slow down and sit with what is, to allow whjat needs to be tended to arise, to befirend the uncortable, gthe darkness, the unkiwn. And o course this doesnt sohnd to fin — so we are “too budy” to go there. consciously align your choices with the inner call you feel—moving toward the frequency you sense yourself being drawn to. It is a chance to quiet the busy buzz of life around you and to tune in to your soul’s voice, which has been patiently waiting for your attention. Let this be a time to listen closely to your own truths and to
A gentle, quiet space to meet every part of yourself with radical honesty and deep love—where you can release what no longer serves and intentionally welcome what nourishes, supports, and helps you grow.
May we lean in to our hearts. When we gently open to the deep connection we all long for, we begin to discover the love within ourselves and the love we hold for one another. These miracles live through us and as us. Even in the midst of struggle, we are being called to move toward the light and toward each other. You are not alone in the darkness. We will find one another, we will make it through the hard times, and we will meet in the light — showing up for ourselves, for one another, and for this planet. We heal in relationship; we heal together. Let our actions be rooted in love.
Creare some pokets for yourslef to notice the stillness of now, and witness what emerges throiugh you the stillness. A sacred space to rest and recollect and siten and trust deeper to whats to whats emerguing
And as the page turns in the book of life, we find new margins to write in, fresh ink to stain our palms, and quiet spaces where old sentences breathe differently. Each chapter folds forward with the familiar weight of memory and the soft promise of possibility — losses reframed as lessons, joys deepened by time, and ordinary moments that suddenly glow with meaning. Turning the page does not erase what came before; it reveals how those lines have shaped us and invites us to trace new ones with intention. This is not only an ending or a beginning but the steady, living motion of becoming—an ongoing story that asks us to keep reading, keep choosing, and keep discovering who we are between the lines.
Although I’m not someone who marks the new year with resolutions and goals, I deeply honor endings and beginnings, the cycles and rhythms of life, and I hold this time as a potent opportunity to find stillness amid the constant buzz of life that happens all around us, the noise in which we can sometimes get a little lost. I seek a gentle anchor that can hold me steady long enough to listen where the voice and the listening become one. A space and time to meet myself with radical honesty, to gently release what no longer serves, and to invite and welcome what nourishes, supports, and helps me grow.
May we lean in to our hearts. If we can gently lean into the deep connection we all long for, we can discover the love for ourselves and the love we hold for one another. These miracles exist through us and as us. I know many people who are struggling; we are being asked to move toward the light, toward connection. You are not alone in the darkness. We will find one another, we will make it through the hard times and meet in the light — to show up for ourselves, for one another, and for this planet. We heal in relationship; we heal together. Let our actions be rooted in love.
A space to slow down, listen to steady inner voice — not the noise of society or the expectations of others — but your truth so you can honestly align with what is, take stock with gentleness, and honor our lived experience.
Sit with: what is my soul whispering — is it time to let go of something, and if so, what exactly needs releasing? Pause and listen for the subtle nudges beneath the noise: which habits, relationships, fears, or expectations are ready to be freed so I can make room to breathe? And equally, what wants to be carried forward — what gifts, insights, strengths, and lessons should I tenderly bring with me into the next chapter of life?
This year I’m sitting with the small things I choose every day to support this path. Am I in alignment with what I feel, not what others feel, or what society says, or even the expectations of friends and family? What is the whispering voice that guides me when no one else is around, when no one else is watching? I’m learning to listen to that quiet guidance, to tend the tiny habits and choices that add up, and to let those gentle, honest signals shape the year ahead.
A gentle moment to close one year with care, to notice what we choose carry forward, and to wake slowly to new beginnings.
Let the stillness be enough for now, allowing rest and presence to quietly do their work.
We stand in a portal, honoring what is not yet visible: the unseen life gathering beneath the surface, the slow, patient work of gestation. In this Capricorn season we are asked: who are you when no one is watching? What are you devoted to when there is no applause, no external sign?
Trust in deeper ways. Trust the cycle when outward evidence is absent. Periods of inward tending are rich and essential; they ask us to turn toward the great void and befriend the dark. Individually and collectively, this is a grand trust fall with the universe — to lean into silence, ritual, and practices that keep us grounded and steady. Ask yourself which small choices, made daily, compose the fabric of the life you wish to call in. The many small steps matter: integrity over approval, sustainability over mere functioning, sacred choice over busy doing.
Use this quiet to honestly examine patterns and release old stories and systems that no longer serve. Refine rather than accumulate; clarify rather than search for more., not add more but mayner strip away to a more simple way of being. To questuon structures, Rest in the dark moon’s pause — a sacred stillness that honors slowness, discernment, and measured refinement. Create space for what genuinely aligns with your values; let action be responsibility enacted with love, frequency built piece by piece.
What emerges in you in the stillness? Soften. Trust deeper. Tend the hidden life beneath the surface, and carry forward the practices and small, faithful choices that will shape this next chapter.
When was the last time you asked yourself, “How am I spending my time? To what am I devoting my energy?” Stop for a moment and really listen. Not for the applause, not to satisfy someone else’s expectations, not to perform a role dictated by society — but in the hush where only you and your own truth remain. There, in that stillness, you might notice the soft, persistent whisper of your soul nudging you toward a life of honest practice: approaching yoga not merely as exercise but as a way of being, offering service as a natural expression of compassion, and making choices that gently repair and uplift both your inner world and the wider world around you. Let those small, steady decisions accumulate and shape your days — not out of obligation, duty, or concern for image, but from a clear, inner devotion to becoming kinder, wiser, more grounded, and fully present in each moment.

All the information you included below is correct — thank you for being so organized and thorough. I’ve saved the casita Amber for you two for the week of February 28–March 7. A deeply nourishing, gentle, and soothing body oil recommended for all skin types. Organic calendula flowers are slowly infused in a base of jojoba, sunflower seed, almond, and castor oils to create a lightweight, fast-absorbing formula that seals in hydration without feeling heavy. Chamomile and calendula work in harmony—calming inflammation, soothing dry or damaged skin, and supporting healing with natural antibacterial, antifungal, and antiseptic properties. Calming chamomile helps reduce irritation and is naturally hypoallergenic; calendula complements it with wound-healing and anti-inflammatory benefits, making this oil ideal for soothing eczema, diaper rash, and other skin sensitivities.
A touch of calming chamomile essential oil and vitamin C–rich sweet orange oil adds brightening and restorative benefits while lending an uplifting-but-calming herbal scent that gently lingers. Use daily on damp skin to lock in moisture and restore comfort and balance. Suitable for every skin type, especially sensitive or stressed skin.

Let’s set up a time to meet for a session — a gentle, held space for you to rest and receive. Tell me which days and times work best for you, and I’ll send a brief overview of the offering to read. Every session is personalized, so we’ll also check in when we meet to see what you’re feeling and needing in the moment.
I’m holding you so tenderly in my heart — a quiet, steady space where you are allowed to be exactly as you are. May you find deep self-compassion here: the kind that listens without judgment, forgives without conditions, and comforts without fixing. Stay close to people who create a safe space for you, who welcome your whole self — your questions, your pauses, your messes. Let yourself feel whatever is present; there is no wrong way to be, no wrong way to feel, and no requirement to already know how. You are enough in this unfolding.
Grief has no rulebook. There is no right way to be, feel, or know how to feel. It arrives in its own timing and shape — sometimes like a heavy fog, sometimes as sharp, sudden pain, sometimes as a quiet, dull ache that lingers. Your reactions may surprise you: anger when you expected sadness, laughter when you thought you’d only cry, numbness when everyone assumes you should be in pieces. None of it makes you less; none of it makes your love or loss any smaller.
You don’t owe anyone a timeline or a justification. Some days you’ll carry the weight with grace, other days it will overwhelm you. Both are okay. Grief can be messy and contradictory; it can ebb and flood, rewind and stall. Let yourself feel without measuring it against someone else’s map. Find small mercies — a cup of tea, a memory that brings a smile, a quiet breath — and give yourself permission to move at your pace.
My hope is for the small moments of refuge and calm — even if they are brief and fleeting. In those quiet instants, may you feel the steady knowing that the strength of your heart endures, guiding you gently forward.
I believe your home is your sanctuary — a space to land, feel calm, and be comfortable. As your landlord, I am committed to doing everything I can to make your time in my apartment as peaceful and pleasant as possible. From prompt maintenance to thoughtful touches and clear communication, my goal is to create an environment where you can relax, recharge, and truly feel at home.
I listened to your gorgeous song — I knew I would fall in love, and you cracked my heart wide open in the most beautiful way. Thank. you for sharing your music and for being so open with me about what’s on your heart and what you’ve been moving through.
My hope is that you continue to meet yourself where you are right now, with deep compassion and gentlenessAnd all of your gifts are beautiful — but what makes you absolutely the most beautiful is your presence, your uniqueness, that is the love that you are and share and radiate. Keep pouring care and pure love into yourself and into the world, tending to every part that shows up. Unearthing deep-rooted imprints is hard, but your strength, integrity, and commitment to diving into your own healing shine through clearly. That willingness to do the work will only deepen the truth you bring to others. Patience, trust, and surrender are simple words — and you’re bringing them to life.
All of your gifts are beautiful, but what makes you most radiant is your presence: your uniqueness, the love you are and share. That being is your greatest art.
Awareness is steady and clear. Wisdom is quiet and knowing. Commitment is rooted and unwavering. You are guided through every step. I am here; if you need anything at all, reach out and trust that support is present.
Deeply rooted in respect and reverence for Mother Nature and the rich traditions of Maya culture, Ixcacao, the Goddess of Cacao, embodies the feminine spirit of the sacred cacao plant—a powerful medicine of the heart. In Mayan mythology, Ixcacao is revered as an Earth Goddess, symbolizing abundance, fertility, nourishment, and compassion, reflecting the profound connection between humanity and the natural world.
Our bodies serve as powerful vessels for receiving the Earth’s messages. Through seeing, tasting, touching, smelling, deeply listening, and feeling, we engage in a profound dialogue with the natural world. These sensory experiences create a vital connection that harmonizes our internal rhythms, fostering calm and peace. This connection recharges our energy and reminds us of our intrinsic wholeness, grounding us in the present moment and anchoring us within the greater web of life. Embracing these sensory pathways allows us to nurture balance and cultivate a deeper sense of well-being.
We can all experience awe and wonder when we fully present ourselves and attune our senses to the Earth. In every sacred moment, tiny miracles unfold—the intricate textures of tree bark, the delicate scent of lavender, the vibrant colors of a setting sun. The sweet melodies of birdsong, the gentle bubbling of a brook, the soothing rhythm of midnight rain, the profound stillness. The taste of a fresh strawberry on a warm summer day. The Earth offers us her purest form of artistry and medicine in abundance—medicine powerful enough to heal our bodies, minds, hearts, and souls.
This sacred communion with the Earth invites us to recognize her vibrant presence all around and within us. It reminds us that we are living, breathing expressions of this brilliant, generous planet. In this deep awareness, our bodies, hearts, and souls engage in ongoing dialogue with the Earth. Embracing our interconnectedness inspires us to honor her by nourishing, cherishing, and caring for her just as she sustains us.

Hello love,
So very much looking forward to being in practice with so many this Thanksgiving Day. It’s a special opportunity to come together, share knowledge, and support one another even on a holiday. Grateful for the chance to connect and grow alongside such a dedicated group.
Hello Haramara fam!
We hope this message finds you well and that you are taking good care of your hearts. Amid the busy and often stressful holiday season as it begins to unfold, we hope you can find some peaceful moments to truly relax and focus on nurturing yourself.
Leigh and I are beyond excited and deeply grateful to be with you all at Haramara in just under a month! It’s truly hard to believe we're almost there. Our hearts are full, and we want to thank each of you for joining us on this beautiful, soulful journey. These retreat experiences hold a special place in our hearts, and there’s so much beauty, nourishment, healing movement, rest, and boundless love waiting for you. xo
There is so much I want to say here, but it feels hard to fully express what’s on my heart through email. I saw this message last night, and of course it made my heart melt, and then this morning you popped up on my IG — possibly the algorithm, but I’ll choose to believe (and know) it was the universe. xo
First, I didn’t know you were engaged! It was such a gift to witness the beautiful photos and feel the energy of this precious and sacred initiation. I am so, so happy for you both. Congratulations on this next gorgeous chapter together, my beauty!
I also saw that your mom passed in August, which I wasn’t aware of until now. And my goodness, this is where my words fail me. Please know that I am holding you deeply in my heart Cassie. I’m so sorry I didn’t know earlier, or I would have reached out sooner. Just know that I am here for you—as a friend, a teacher, a sister, a human who loves you so dearly, walking beside you on this path, and here to support you in every way I can. Always. Though I didn’t know your mom personally, I love her for bringing you into this world. I will continue sending prayers for her on her next journey, trusting she is held in boundless love.
You know that having you at Haramara has long been a dream for me (!) and if it does work out to be the time, I know it will be a deeply healing space for you, and a powerful portal to open up to this next new chapter—planting seeds of intention for everything that lies ahead.
Attached are the details for this year’s dates, accommodations, and rates. LMK when you have. chance to look thgrough everythung, and feel free to reach out with any questions or thoughts you may have.

Holding a space to come together in community on a day that holds deep significance for so many, and can bring up a wide range of deep emotions, thoughts, and reflections, feels very important to me. My hope is that taking intentional time to pause, and breathe deeply, offers a sense of grounding, steadiness and home within.
Providing a sacred space to come together in community on a day that holds deep significance for many offers a powerful opportunity for connection and reflection. Recognizing that such moments can evoke a wide range of emotions, thoughts, and memories, this intentional pause allows individuals to breathe deeply and find grounding amidst the complexity. My hope is that this shared experience brings a sense of steadiness and a feeling of home within, creating a space where healing and presence can unfold naturally.
This emembrance honors the struggles of Native peoples and acknowledges the historical injustices that Thanksgiving often overlooks. It serves as a powerful reminder of the resilience and strength of Indigenous communities while challenging the traditional narrative surrounding the holiday. By recognizing these truths, the day encourages reflection, education, and a commitment to justice and reconciliation.
Turning away from the history of this day perpetuates the ongoing invisibility of the worldwide genocide of Indigenous peoples. To truly walk the path of yoga is to recognize and acknowledge these painful truths. We owe it to humanity to listen, learn, and be open to discomfort as we consider the possibility of genuine healing among all people. Let us honor the pain and suffering of our fellow human beings by facing the truth, not turning away from it.
They are 90-minutes, and offered on a sliding scale from $125 to $175.

For centuries, indigenous communities in Central America have embraced cacao as a sacred tool for connection and nourishment, fostering spiritual insight and wellbeing. This is a space to slow down, practice gratitude, and immerse in mindfulness. Our gathering will begin in a circle with guided meditation and gentle movement practice. Everyone will then be offered a cup of ceremonial cacao and guided through the sensory experience of sipping and enjoying with intention
Cacao's natural compounds encourage the release of serotonin and dopamine, promoting relaxation, reflection, and heart-centered awareness. Some people find emotional release, others gain clarity, and for many it's simply a grounding experience. There will be opportunity for more movement, dance, and song, and we will close the ceremony with a supportive savasana and sound bath.
We hope that you are able to carry a sense of connection and grounding with you beyond the ceremony.
