“In many shamanic societies, if you came to a medicine person complaining of being disheartened, dispirited, or depressed, they would ask one of four questions,
"When did you stop dancing? When did you stop singing?
When did you stop being enchanted by stories?
When did you stop being comforted by the sweet territory of silence?”

Yoga is not just a practice; it is a life path and the choices we consciously make each step along the way. It fosters a deep connection to the body, heart, and soul, and to the very essence of Nature, to Mother Earth herself, and to something so much larger than this human experience — far beyond words, time and space. The yoga path is a commitment — an invitation to journey inward, and a sacred space to observe, listen, and get to know oneself on a deeper level. It is where we are asked to sit with our light and our shadows, our joys and our fears, our love and our grief, our deep rooted patterns, self-limiting beliefs…and ultimitely, the full spectrum of our human experience. It is body work, it is nervous system work, it is heart work — it is deep, and brave work.
Yoga teaches us how to best take care of ourselves, each other, and our planet. It fosters our ability to ground ourselves in the present moment, connect to our soul, and to love others and be loved in return with compassion, kindness, and unbounded joy.
This journey of yoga is an ever-evolving, unfolding, intimate, and exquisite love story.
We have a tremendous responsibility here on this planet, and we are being called to soften our hearts, to embrace one another, to love deeply, to rise to challenges, to spark inspiration, to nurture all beings, and ultimately, to make whole what is fragmented.
May this path and may this work benefit all of our relations.
